It has been eight years since my last post. Yesterday, while reopening my Upwork account, I found this blog I started at 19. Although the content isn’t amazing, I’m surprised by my consistency and commitment back then. This discovery came at the perfect time, as I’ve been thinking about starting a blog again.
Over the years, I’ve considered many blog themes. During my Philosophy studies, I thought about sharing daily philosophical thoughts. Later, during my Computer Science master’s, I considered explaining software theories. After graduating, I thought about combining both fields into engaging articles on technology. I also considered blogs on crocheting, trail running, programming, and frankly any other hobby I have had in the past 5 years. But I never started any of them.
My current inspiration comes from Matthew Dicks’ book, Someday is Today. Dicks mentions he has posted daily since November 2008. I’ll share more about his 22 no-bullshit tips to actually start creating in an upcoming post, as they are valuable to anyone. His dedication is inspiring, and it motivated me to start my own daily blog.
So, here’s my promise: from today, I will post something daily. Let’s see where this challenge takes us. I invite you to join me on this journey. Share your own experiences with starting a blog, or suggest topics you’d like to see.
