Sunday Reflection: Is A Lack of Execution Holding You Back?

In the book The 12 Week Year, the authors argue that most people do not achieve what they want to achieve because of a lack of consistent execution. People often know ways to achieve the goal they are after, but simply do not have a consistent practice to achieve their goals. Hence the reflection question for this Sunday:

Where are you allowing a lack of consistent execution to hold you back? Think of different areas where this questions could apply to: in your social life, in that project you’ve been meaning to complete but keep delaying, or in your health, for example.

You probably already know how to get to your desired outcome. So, my suggestion for today would be to reflect on this question, and take some time to write down how applying the knowledge you already have can lead to your achieving this result.

Happy Sunday! 🫴🏽🌱

  1. I feel like forever already, I want to start doing more creative stuff: painting, writing, even dancing! I know I should just block some time to do it, but somehow it always manages to fall from the priority list. Maybe attaching a concrete goal to it could help me keep it in sight. 🙂
